First, secure your
wicks in each
of the wick holes in your bottom pie crust and place crust in your
pie tin. |

Next, heat your gel and when it is
melted, add your candle dye (one drop at a time, until
you get desired color) and add 1/2 ounce of fragrance
per pound of gel wax. Mix everything up really well.
Now that everything has been mixed, pour
gel into pie crust.

Once the gel has cooled,
start placing your pecans on top. I like to do two layers. The first
layer, I place all the pecans side by side. The second layer, I
place the pecans over gel gaps in the first layer. Layering will
also add more texture to your finished product. |

Now
that you have all of your pecans in place, pour more of
your gel over the pecans. Be sure to pour slowly,
covering each pecan. Let cool. |

Trim your wicks and you are done! See? I told you it was
