Start melting your gel wax using a
presto pot. While your wax is melting, thread your wicks through the
wick holes in the bottom of your 5" pie shell. And set out all of
your embeds within easy reach.
Once your wax has melted, add
your fragrance (1/2 ounce per pound of wax). Mix fragrance in gel
for approximately 1-2 minutes to be sure that it has dispersed into
the gel evenly. Now, pour gel into your pie shell.

Time to move fast now, but be
careful! Hot gel gets REALLY hot on the skin.
Insert your medium strawberry
halves all around the edge of your pie shell, standing them up with
the pointed ends up.

You can
use different fruits if you choose and, of course, you may put as
many or as little fruit pieces in the pie that you prefer. I just
chose this combo, because it resembles the larger version of my 9"
Mixed Fruit Pie. This
project was just an example of how I make my fruit pies and I hope
that it will inspire you to invent some wonderful creations of your
own!
